Tutorial_01 - How To Manage Material ID
This tutorial would like to present how to manage material ID. First at all, download the small table model.

After open the scene, you will find 4 objects in that scene.

Select at 001 object and go to editable poly modifier. Click the attach list button and then, the attach window will appear. Attach all objects to 001 object.

Right-click at 001 object and go to properties. The object properties window will appear and rename it to "small_table_01". Then click ok.

Go to layer manager button at main toolbar and you will see the layer manager window. Create the new layer and rename to "small_table". Move small_table_01 object to small_table layer.

Select small_table_01 object and enter to element sub-object of editable poly modifier. Set the material ID by element as per follow images.




Go to material editor button at main toolbar and the material editor window will show for next step. Create multi/sub-object material and rename it to "small_table". Set the number of ID to 4.

Rename ID and material name in each ID to smallTable_EDGE, smallTable_TOP, smallTable_BODY, smallTable_LEG follow example image.

Finally, you will have object with 4 material ID and easy to adjust each material. Let's you try and enjoy :)
